As with human beings in general, I am a complex person. Or as Scott Calvin says in The Santa Claus 2, "I have many sides. I'm a puzzle. I'm a Rubik's cube with pants."
On my creative side, I am a children's book writer and puppeteer. I write picture books and middle grade novels. I work with hand and rod puppets in the Henson-style of puppetry.
On my business side, I help small businesses and start-ups with their human resources needs. This consulting work leverages my former career in corporate human resources.
And somewhere in between, I am a Mom of two small children, a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. Hopefully, on any given day I do marginally well in at least one of those roles.
